Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Will Ferrell

Date: August 4th, 2006   —   Other

Rating:

Initially, when I saw the ad for this movie on TV, I decided it would be another cheesy attempt at humor. Furthermore, when I heard on Jay Leno's show, from Michael Clark Duncan that Will Ferrel was the director, it further cemented my resolve not to waste time on it. However, strange as this may sound, my spirit kept rebelling within me. I saw Anchorman and some of Will Ferrel's parts in movies and I knew he was incredibly talented.  So as you can imagine, I was restless. I finally decided to see it yesterday. And I must say that I was not disappointed at all. This movie was hilarious to the very end. You don't have to take my word for it. Just go and see it.

Hey, don't forget to wait at the end to see the outtakes. Have a rib-cracking, tear-dropping, side-splitting, head-aching-cos-you-can't-take-it-no-more time when you go to see it. Will Ferrell is a comedy genius. Yes, believe it!
